Two Hazelwood Men Charged with Spanish Lake Burglary

Wiley and Iakeem Williams, along with another man were found with the stolen items next door to the home they burglarized, police say.

Three men, including two Hazelwood residents, are accused of breaking into a Spanish Lake home on Friday. Wiley Williams Jr, 21, Ramses Williams, 20, and Iakeem Williams, 19, were charged Saturday with second-degree burglary and felony theft. Wiley and Iakeem Williams are from the 7400 block of Hazelcrest Drive in Hazelwood. Ramses Williams is from the 9200 block of Hopedale Drive in Bellefontaine Neighbors. St. Louis County Police said the three men broke out a rear window at a home in the 12100 block of Barcelona Drive in Spanish Lake. They then stole a flat-screen television, two laptops, jewelry and a Canadian coin, police said. While canvassing the neighborhood, officers found the three men in a house next door to the burglarized home…

Hazelwood Crime: Man Steals Ring from First Cash Pawn

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred on February 4 in the City of Hazelwood. Hazelwood Patch attained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department (HPD). Second-Degree Burglary: A garage was broken into in the 800 black of James S. McDonnell Blvd. Keys were stolen to vehicles. Assault on a Police Officer: A student pushed a police officer at Hazelwood West High School. Burglary: At 6:10 p.m., HPD received a report of a hold-up alarm at First Cash Pawn. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the employee on duty that said a man walked into the business and asked to see a ring. When the employee pulled out the ring, the man grabbed it from and fled. Woman Flees Police After Stealing at St. Louis Outlet Mall, Arrested by Mo Highway Patrol

The woman got away from the Hazelwood Police Department after stealing at Marshalls and took to the highway.

A woman was arrested on January 25 after causing a scene a putting people at risk. Hazelwood Police report the woman was observed stealing from Marshalls at St. Louis Outlet Mall. She fled the scene in a vehicle someone else was driving after getting out of the mall. But the driver failed to yield to police as authorities attempted to stop them, according to the report. The Missouri State Highway Patrol later caught the thief and her driver. Both were arrested; one for stealing, and the other for resisting arrest by flight, along with other traffic charges. Man Arrested for Hazelwood Church Break-ins, Police Say

Hazelwood Police said the man burglarized St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church and Hazelwood Baptist Church two times each.

A man broke into two Hazelwood churches two times each and stole items, police said. Nelson Thomas, 18, of the 600 block of Holiday Avenue, was charged Thursday with four counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of felony stealing, one count of misdemeanor stealing and first-degree property damage. Hazelwood Police said Thomas broke into St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church at 615 Dunn Road on Jan. 1 and stole five Hershey bars and soda. I don't know Rachel but either way, if this were my 'career' path I would still be terribly afraid to rob a church. I mean it's a church! Jesus' house of worship. It's unfortunate this young person chose this life path and even more unfortunate the churchs wound up as victims.   more ›

Hazelwood Man Stole TVs, Wedding Ring from Neighbor, Police Say

The man was charged with burglary and stealing in two 2011 incidents.

A Hazelwood man faces criminal charges after police said he broke into a home twice last year and stole items from a neighbor. Rodney Williams, 34, of the 7200 block of Hazelcrest Drive in Hazelwood, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing. Hazelwood Police said Williams entered another home in the 7200 block of Hazelcrest on June 25 and June 30, 2011, stealing two televisions and a gold wedding band. a total value estimated at $1,000.
