Man Charged for Robbing, Hitting Person in Head With Bat
The victim needed staples to close a gash in his head from the attack, Hazelwood Police said.
Hazelwood Patch previously reported a man beating another man with a bat in December. That crime has now been linked to a Florissant man whom police say hit a robbery victim in the head twice with an aluminum baseball bat before taking his cell phone. Hazelwood Police said Aaron Lawson, 20, followed the man to his residence Dec. 3 in the 1600 block of Ville Cecelia Lane in Hazelwood and attacked him when he got out of his car.
