Gasoline is the cheapest it has been all summer, this week with the average price of regular unleaded gasoline averaging $3.20. Howdershell BP  has the cheapest gas overall in the area at $3.11 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline, and premium unleaded gas at $3.41 per gallon. Oil by the barrel went up by $2 Tuesday. So far the increase isn't reflecting at the pump.

By the end of the week, there could be a reflection of the inflated price of crude oil overseas, right here in your back yard. Right now the price at the pump is holding steady in the $2.45 range. In Hazelwood, Quiktrip on Howdershell Road at $3.46, and Phillips 66 on North Lindbergh at $3.52 have the cheapest price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline.
