Five Places to See Holiday Lights in St. Louis

Check out this round up of places to see some holiday lights displays.

Looking for a light display? Look no further. Here are a few locations Hazelwood residents can visit for a grand view. 1.Winter Wonderland in Tilles Park Winter Wonderland runs from Nov. 21 to Jan. 1 and is closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. The park is open to both cars and carriages from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Friday but is closed to cars on Saturdays. Cost is $10 for a vehicle, $20 for a limousine, $40 for a commercial van and $90 for a tour bus. Cars must enter from southbound McKnight Road. Carriage rides are available every night. Advanced reservations are require for carriage rides. Ticket prices vary. One Tank Trip: 27 Years of Winter Wonder, Photos from Tilles Park

Tilles Park Winter Wonderland opens Wednesday.

Winter Wonderland, the million-light holiday display in Tilles Park, opens on Wednesday for its 27th showing this year. Pedestrians got a sneak preview this weekend, and food trucks provided fuel for the exercise. See Hazelwood Patch's Facebook page for more photos. (Like it!) The drive-through, by car or horse-drawn carriage, opens Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. and runs through Jan. 1. It's closed Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Saturdays are reserved for carriage rides only. Tilles Park Winter Wonderwalk Is Next Weekend

Walk through the annual holiday light extravaganza before it opens to cars.

The 27th annual St. Louis County Parks Winter Wonderland in Tilles Park opens to the public Wednesday, Nov. 21, but patrons can experience the fun a week early at the Winter Wonderwalk. Patrons can stroll through the park to view the million-plus holiday lights on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17-18 Winter Wonderwalk is $5 per person and strollers, wagons and dogs on a 6-foot leash are welcome. The walkthroughs will be held at the following times both nights: Advanced registration is required. Sprout & About Says Musick Park Sprayground a 'Best Bet'

St. Louis Sprout & About, an online resource for family events and activities listed the Hazelwood gem with other popular locations like Citygarden and Tower Grove Park.

The City of HazelwoodParks and Recreation Division unveiled Musick Park's newly renovated sprayground in May. In the few short weeks it has been open, the attraction has gained an old title back: one of St. Louis Sprout & About's Best Bets on "Spraygrounds." Since opening in 2008, the Musick Park Sprayground has been a popular hangout for kids and adults seeking cool relief from the summer heat.  Some of the enhancements made to this facility include upgrades to all facets of the spray pad including the mechanical equipment, underground pipes, spray heads, fencing, and concrete with bare feet friendly surfacing.  Plus, at night, the sprayground will be lit up with multi-colored lights that reflect off the shooting water, creating a rainbow…
