Property Damage: A rock was thrown through the front room window of a residence in the 200 block of Manning Avenue. Second Degree Burglary: Coins and video games were taken from a home in the 900 block of Riderwood Drive when a burglar forced entry through a basement window. Stealing: Two shoplifters were arrested for stealing at Old Navy. Property Damage: An individual in the 8700 block of Carmel Court reported an unknown person or source as the cause of thier sliding glass door shattering. Man Indicted on 25 Forgery Counts, Identity Theft Involving Hazelwood ATM

Man is charged with acquiring identification, passwords, checks and then withdrawing money over a nine-week period in areas including Hazelwood.

A University City man in in a flood of trouble and was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday on 25 counts of forgery, four counts of identity theft and three counts of stealing. Creve Coeur Police said in a report that Ernest D. Bams, of the 7000 block of Melrose Avenue in University City, acquired other people’s identitification, passwords and checks at the person’s bank and then withdrawing money. He then made withdrawals at 15 bank and ATM locations throughout the St. Louis County area, including Creve Coeur, Shrewsbury, Oakville, Crestwood, Hazelwood and unincorporated North County, according to the report. The thefts occurred over a nine-week period from June 7 through Aug. 12, 2011.

Thieves Steal a Hazelwood Business' Air Conditioner

Stealing: Thieves stole the air conditioner from a Hazelwood business in the 7000 block of North Hanley Road. Assault: An individual sprayed mace in another person's face during a verbal disagreement in the 5300 block of Knoll Creek Drive. Stealing: Individuals broke into a vehicle at St. Louis Mills and stole items within. Burglary: HPD is investigating a burglary in the 1600 block of Gerard Park Lane.
