Man Wearing Spider-Man Mask Robs Pizza Delivery Man in Spanish Lake

St. Louis County Police arrested a Hazelwood man accused of Friday's robbery.

A Hazelwood man wore a Spider-Man mask as he robbed a pizza delivery driver Friday in the 1500 block of Marbella in Spanish Lake, St. Louis County Police said. The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on Sunday charged Richard D. Whitehead, 31, of the 300 block of Chalmetta Drive in Hazelwood, with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. An Imo's Pizza employee was killed Nov. 6 while delivering pizza in Dellwood. A man has been charged with murder in that case. St. Louis County Police said Whitehead was wearing the Spider-Man mask and was armed with a small, nickel-plated semi-automatic handgun when he approached a Dominos Pizza deliveryman about 11:20 a.m. Friday. Teen Faces Murder Charge in Dellwood Pizza Delivery Shooting

The man shot and killed a 39-year-old man and stole three pizzas and a cell phone, police said.

A 17-year-old man has been accused of shooting and killing an Imo’s Pizza delivery driver Monday in Dellwood. Earon A. Rivers, 17, of the 10000 block of Bon Oak Drive in North County just east of Dellwood, was charged Tuesday morning with second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action. On Monday night, St. Louis County Police officers found a driver dead and slumped over at his wheel in the 1600 block of Mowbry Lane. The driver was shot once underneath his left arm, St. Louis County Police said. The victim, Brian Johnson, 39, of the 12800 block of Meadowdale in Spanish  Lake, was a delivery driver for Imo’s Pizza at 2162 Chambers Road in North County. Woman Trafficked ID Theft Information and Hid It In Her Vaginal Area, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said when she was arrested, a woman was hiding names, birth dates and social security numbers of seven people from an adult day center in a very womanly area.

A North County woman was discovered concealing stolen information that would have been used to steal identities of seven people, St. Louis County Police said. Apryl Rene Washington, 30, of the 1400 block of Monopoly Drive in unincorporated North County, was charged Oct. 30 with trafficking in stolen identities. St. Louis County Police said Washington was arrested at 6:30 p.m. May 22 in the 1100 block of Benham Road on an outstanding warrant from the city of St. Louis. A female officer discovered she concealed a wallet in her vaginal area. A piece of paper inside the wallet contained seven names, with dates of birth and social security numbers of the people. Man Crashes into Squad Car While Fleeing Traffic Stop, Police Say

The man crashes into the police car near Jana Elementary School after being caught in a dead-end, according to St. Louis County Police.

A North County drove his car into a police patrol car June 14 near Jana Elementary School in the Hazelwood School District, St. Louis County Police said. Philip Saddler, of the 1500 block of Boardwalk in North County, was charged Friday with leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest. The officer attempted to pull Saddler over for not wearing a seat belt, but Saddler drove away instead, St. Louis County Police said. The officer followed him to 405 Jana Drive, which dead ends at Jana Elementary. Saddler turned around and drove at the police car, striking it and causing $2,635 in damage, according to the police report. Saddler left his car and fled on foot, and tried to run when police arrived at his home, according to court …

Zephrex-D, a new decongestant that its manufacturer and St. Louis area drug agents say cannot be converted into methamphetamine, is set to hit St. Louis pharmacies this month. As Patch previously reported, Zephrex D is expected to be available in St. Louis area pharmacies in November. Since its maker and drug agents say it cannot be converted into meth, it will also be sold without a prescription in some counties that have recently passed ordinances requiring a prescription to purchasepseudoephedrine products like Claritin-D and Allegra-D. Safe Trick-or-Treating, St. Louis County Police Provides Locations

Looking for a place to trick-or-treat where you know your children will be safe and receive safe goods? St. Louis County Police school resource and DARE officers have these locations covered on Halloween.

It happens every year. Children get excited and want their parents to take them trick-or-treating. It can be tough to find trusted locations, but there's one place each year guaranteed to keep parents from worrying. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to one of the St. Louis County Police Department's Halloween safety centers. Police officers will be giving away glow necklaces, balloons and candy. Precinct beat officers, supervisors, neighborhood policing officers, school resource and DARE officers will be assigned to the various locations. Chicken-Eating Vodka Thief The store security staff at Dierbergs Market, in Arnold, watched a man stuff four bottles of Absolut vodka down his pants Sept. 30 and then walk through the store eating chicken from the deli, according to police. When the man tried to leave the store, the security staff tried to stop him and the man kicked them. He was booked and held. Sobriety Checkpoints: St. Louis County Police Zero in on Drunk Drivers in October

Removing intoxicated drivers from roadways is a high priority for St. Louis County police officers, says St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch.

During the entire month of October, St. Louis County Police Highway Safety Unit and Division of Patrol officers will conduct sobriety checkpoints. Officers who received extra training regarding the effects of illegal drugs and alcohol will check motorists to reduce the number of intoxicated and impaired drivers on streets and highways, including in Hazelwood.  St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch said checkpoints have been an effective method for improving public safety. Officers also will issue citations for seat belt and other violations. Assaulting Three Police Officers Puts New Man on 'Most Wanted' List

The St. Louis County Police Department website updates its Most Wanted list as fugitives are apprehended. The list currently includes suspects wanted for attempted enticement of a child, unlawful uses of weapons, statutory sodomy, child abuse, robbery, child kidnapping, stealing, forgery, statutory rape, domestic assault and armed criminal action. Police: Man Stealing Vodka Struggles With Security Guards

The Hazelwood man was charged with second-degree robbery last week.

A Hazelwood man faces criminal charges after trying to walk out of a grocery store with a bottle of vodka. Ronell Walls, 30, of Hazelwood, was charged Tuesday with second-degree robbery. St. Louis County Police  said he took a bottle of Absolut vodka from a shelf in Shop ‘n Save at 196 Mayfair Plaza in Spanish Lake and put it in his pants pocket at about 7:35 p.m. Sept. 10. Police said he passed all points of sale without trying to pay for the bottle. When a security guard approached him, he responded, “Don’t touch me or I’ll (mess) you up,” according to a police report. When the security guard tried to apprehend him, Walls punched him in the face. The two struggled until another security guard arrived, and the struggle went on another …
