IHOP Offering Free Pancakes to Honor National Pancake Day

IHOP will give every person in America a free short stack of pancakes to celebrate National Pancake Day, but to consider helping a few children in the process.

Tuesday is National Pancake Day and to celebrate, the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) is offering every person in America a free short stack of its signature buttermilk pancakes for free, from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. The popular breakfast restaurant has celebrated National Pancake Day since 2006 and in the past seven years has raised nearly $10 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates. The pancakes are technically free, however IHOP goers are asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated local charities, IHOP's website says. Suspect Caught from Fatal Shooting in Bridgeton

Police responded to the shooting at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, where they discovered a man lying dead in the street with a gun shot wound.

Bridgeton Police have arrested the person they believe shot and killed a 33-year-old man on the 4100 block of Stonehart Drive Friday morning, Fox 2 News reports. According to the report, police responded to the shooting at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, where they discovered a man lying dead in the street with a gun shot wound. Holman Middle School, located just a few dozen yards from the crime scene, was placed on lock-down while police searched for the suspect, the report said.
