Special School District of St. Louis County to Vote on Board Candidate, Incumbent
Two board seats are up during this election season with one newcomer and one incumbent filing to take the spots.
The deadline has approached to file as a candidate for board positions with the Special School District of St. Louis County (SSD), for the 2013 municipal election season. SSD handles the election process a in a different manner than other municipal elections. Nancy Ide, SSD's Chief Communications Officer said the district has one candidate for each of the two seats up for re-election. "With the passage of Proposition S in 1998, SSD Board of Education members are elected by the District’s Governing Council," Ide said.
