Murder Suspect: I Was the Lookout Man

Jeremy Henderson is charged with second-degree murder and first-degree arson after a local father was found dead in the recent Villa Rosa apartments fire. He told police he was watching the door for several others as they committed the crimes.

Murder May Have Been Motive for Arson in Villa Rosa Apartments Fire

One man was found dead after the fire. New information uncovered by police led to the arrest of a suspect who is charged with second-degree murder and first-degree arson.

New developments have arisen in the investigation being conducted on the recent tragic multi-apartment fire on Villa Rosa that resulted in the death of one resident. Hazelwood Police report that they have arrested Jeremy Henderson, 20, of the 5300 block of Ville Angela in Hazelwood. Henderson has been charged with second-degree murder and first-degree arson by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, according to a press release. A $250,000 cash bond has been set. According to conversations Hazelwood Patch had with Christi Fieselmann, the victim’s children’s mother and several others on Facebook, the victim was 48-year-old Mike Mansfield. Mansfield was one of the owners of the former Beldt’s Aquarium in Hazelwood.
