Hundreds Turn Out for Citywide Garage Sale
This weekend's citywide garage sale was a one-stop shop for bargain shoppers in Hazelwood and across North County.
Love a good rummage or yard sale? If you missed this weekend’s Hazelwood City-Wide Garage Sale, you missed a great chance at getting some really good stuff. Saturday’s garage sale, tucked away in the gymnasium of the Hazelwood Community Center, offered Hazelwood residents, along with neighbors from throughout St. Louis County, a chance to collect some jewels at low value prices. It was a a bargain shopper's dream. Prices ranged from 25 cents to $10 for knickknacks, collectibles, clothing, shoes and antiques. One vendor had a large assortment of golfing equipment with various types of clubs and putters. Filicia Patrick said that she was able to find purses, baby clothes, and body lotions for a bargain.
