Flea Market Raises Funds for Hazelwood West High School’s Marching Wildcats
Band will be traveling to the Alamo Bowl Christmas day to compete with other bands during half-time.
The Hazelwood West High Marching Wildcats are determined to raise enough funds to compete in the Alamo Bowl, and last month, the band held a flea market at McNair Elementary to do so. Kelly Eagan, a parent helper for marching band and co-chair of the flea market, praised the dedicated teens who worked hard to help organize the event. She was very proud of the students, expressing admiration for their hard work which paid off. "The kids worked so hard," she said. "They were busy helping from start to finish. They helped customers carry purchased items out to their cars, and they stayed to clean up after the event was over."
