Hazelwood West Middle School Students' Artwork Goes to the White House

More than 100 students contributed to the ornaments that will hang at the National Christmas Tree Lighting display in Washington, DC.

You can bet Hazelwood West Middle School's art students will be tuned in to this year's National Christmas Tree Lighting, today at 5pm EST. That's because they are the only students chosen from Missouri to make ornaments for the White House holiday tree display, which is sponsored by the National Parks Foundation. Hazelwood West Middle School's principal, Dr. Allison Klouse, was absolutely awestruck by the presidential invite. "It's just so thrilling and exciting that we were asked to have this honor that reaches from St. Louis all the way to Washington, DC," she said.
