A Muslim School is Opening in Hazelwood at Dar AlJalal Islamic Center
The primary school will be located on the second floor of the Mosque. According to Dar AlJalal's website, there is only one other Muslim school in the Greater St. Louis Area.
The Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis and its Dar AlJalal Mosque will soon be home to a private school right here in the City of Hazelwood. The mosque, which opened last summer, is located at 8945 Dunn Road. It is a 30,000 square foot building and the entire second floor will be dedicated to the school, classrooms, study rooms, and a library. The first floor would accommodate a state-of-the-art computer lab, teacher facilities, a conference room, and a staffed cafeteria and kitchen. The Muslim American community is one of the kindest and highly respected and educated group in the region. Not to mention the enormous economic impact the Muslim business community has on the region.
