Police located the car used and found the men in a nearby apartment along with the stolen property and a handgun, according to a court document.
Two men are accused of robbing a man at gunpoint Friday in Hazelwood. Michael Davenport, 20, of the 4300 block of West Belle Avenue in St. Louis, and Bryan Knox, 18, of the 11500 bock of Rock Hampton Drive in Spanish Lake, were charged Friday with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Hazelwood Police said the two men got out of a car near the intersection of Cortena Drive and Utz Lane in Hazelwood at about 12:03 a.m. Friday. The man told police Davenport walked up to him and pointed a handgun at him. Another man came up behind him and took his cell phone and wallet, the man said. A Hazelwood man faces a criminal charge after police discovered illicit photos on his phone Aug. 23. John Basch, 47, of the 800 block of Teson Road in Hazelwood, was charged Thursday with possession of child pornography. Sunset Hills Police said they received a hotline call regarding Basch, and an investigation revealed that he may have shown pornographic photos to a 6-year-old girl in Sunset Hills. Police seized Basch’s cell phone and he signed a consent form allowing them to search the phone on Aug. 23. Police discovered photos on the phone of minors having sex, police said.
