Hazelwood School District Hosting Bus Driver Job Fair Wednesday
On-the-spot interviews will be offered to those who qualify.
The Hazelwood School District (HSD) is trying a new approach to hiring. On Wednesday, it will host its first Bus Driver Job Fair. Typically all open jobs positions are posted on HSD's website. Hazelwood Patch reached out to Diana Gulotta, HSD's assistant superintendent for communications, to ask about the event and she said the district decided to host a job fair to reach more people. "We are trying something new in order to increase the pool of drivers we have to choose from," she said, "and to increase the number of substitutes available."
