North County Store Owner Charged With Selling Bootleg Movies

Bridgeton resident Saddam Mutan, who owns Discount Cigarettes in Jennings, was charged with selling unlicensed DVDs from the store.

A Bridgeton man was one of three men were charged with selling bootleg movies from a Discount Cigarettes store in Jennings. Saddam Mutan, 20, of the 3600 block of Bridgeton Square in Bridgeton, the store owner, was charged Wednesday with offering unauthorized recordings for sale, a felony. Two others charged offering unauthorized recordings for sale were Ivory Jackson, 56, of the 6000 block of Enright Avenue in St. Louis, and Ghazi Khader, 64, of Belleville, IL. St. Louis County Police said Jackson created the bootleg DVDs and Khader is a store clerk, who sold the DVDs on Jackson’s behalf. According …
