Mayors' Shamrock Ball Expands, Includes Ferguson Mayor
In the past, the annual event benefitting Valley Industries Sheltered Workshop included mayors from Hazelwood, Florissant and Blackjack.
The North County Mayors' Shamrock Ball is right around the corner and this year guests will get a little more bang for their buck. The 6th annual Mayors' Shamrock Ball will occur on March 2, of which proceeds will benefit Valley Industries Sheltered Workshop. This year all guests will meet the mayors of four North County communities who are the program hosts: Mayor Norman McCourt of Black Jack; Mayor Tom Schneider of Florissant, Mayor Matthew Robinson of Hazelwood and Mayor James W. Knowles of Ferguson. The goal is to sell 500 tickets which are $100 each. Last year more than 400 tickets were sold and 52 event sponsors were recruited.
