Cakes By Nette Leaving Olivette, Moving to North County
The bakery that specializes in 3-D cakes and alcohol-infused cupcakes will be moving to a new location in North County where it originally started.
Cakes by Nette, the popular Olivette bakery that specializes in 3-D cakes like you've find on TV's Ace of Cakes, will be closing shop in its Olive Boulevard location on Dec. 22. Owner Shannette Redd announced the move on her Facebook page Thursday, prompting Suzanne Epstein-Lang, a fan of Patch, to comment: "So sad for our community."
