Robbers Stick Up Hazelwood Man, Police Say

Police located the car used and found the men in a nearby apartment along with the stolen property and a handgun, according to a court document.

Two men are accused of robbing a man at gunpoint Friday in Hazelwood. Michael Davenport, 20, of the 4300 block of West Belle Avenue in St. Louis, and Bryan Knox, 18, of the 11500 bock of Rock Hampton Drive in Spanish Lake, were charged Friday with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Hazelwood Police said the two men got out of a car near the intersection of Cortena Drive and Utz Lane in Hazelwood at about 12:03 a.m. Friday. The man told police Davenport walked up to him and pointed a handgun at him. Another man came up behind him and took his cell phone and wallet, the man said. Would-Be Robber Puts Gun to Person's Head for Money, Police Say

Tyree Valdez and another person attempted to rob a person at North Hanley Drive and Santa Bella Drive, according to the Hazelwood Police Department.

A man is accused of holding a gun to a person’s head Saturday in the City of Hazelwood and demanding money. Tyree Valdez, 26, of the 2700 block of Mullanphy Lane in Florissant, was charged Monday with first-degree attempted robbery and armed criminal action. The Hazelwood Police Department said Valdez, acting with another, put a gun to a person’s head and demanded money at 10:10 p.m. Saturday on North Hanley Road at Santa Bella Drive. Police said when Valdez was arrested he had the handgun. Valdez is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $100,000, cash only. (Get instant news updates. Men Burst Into North County Home With Metal Baton, Rob Five People, Police Say

Two men initially refused to give the men their possessions and were hit with the baton, St. Louis County said.

Two men burst into a North County residence with a metal baton and robbed five people inside the home on Monday, St. Louis County Police said. Police said Jonathan Q. Phillips, 24, and another man broke into the home in the 15600 block of 94th Ave. near Vaile Avenue and Old Halls Ferry Road. They forced five people inside to get down on the floor. Police Reveal New Details on Tuesday Night Shooting: Teens Used a Shotgun, Acted Together

The men fired shots at about 8:41 p.m. Tuesday, Hazelwood Police said.

New details have surfaced on the case of the three teens who shot into a Hazelwood home on Tuesday night. The three men acted together to fire four shotgun blasts into a home in the 200 block of Flora Drive in Hazelwood at about 8:41 p.m. Tuesday, police said. The men were charged Wednesday with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action: Hazelwood Police said that Monroe fired four 20-gauge shotgun shells into the home. Alexander was the driver and Thurman supplied the shotgun, according to the police report. Bail was set at $75,000 cash only for each of the three men. Shotgun Wedding? Man Reveals Revolver After Stealing Diamond Ring in Hazelwood

Hazelwood Police say Antione Gathing went into a St. Louis Mills store and asked to see a wedding ring before running out of the store with the ring.

A man faces criminal charges after running out of a jewelry store at St. Louis Mills with a wedding ring. Antione Gathing, 33, of the 4000 block of Delmar in St. Louis, was charged Saturday with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Hazelwood Police said Gathing went into the store and asked to see a wedding ring. When he was handed the ring, he turned and ran out of the store. When a security guard attempted to stop him in the parking lot, Gather turned and raised his shirt to reveal a revolver in his waistband. The guard backed off. North County Man Charged with Robbing Bridgeton Resident at Gunpoint

Two people held up a man at Bridgeport Crossing Apartments in the apartment stairwell, police said.

A St. Louis County man was charged with robbing a Bridgeton resident at gunpoint in an apartment stairwell June 15. The St. Louis County Prosecutor’s office filed first-degree robbery and armed criminal action charges June 19 against Ryan McCuller-Hinds, 20, of the 11200 block of Ruesta Drive in unincorporated North County. Bridgeton Police said in a report that McCuller-Hinds and another person robbed the victim at gunpoint on a building stairwell at Bridgeport Crossing Apartments in the 3900 block of Brittany Circle. They took $250 cash and the victim’s cell phone. McCuller-Hinds is being held in St. Louis County Jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond. A Bridgeton Police detective said he could not comment on the second person involved in the …
