Last Chance: 2012 Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday Runs Through Wednesday
Now through Wednesday is your last chance to save with no sales tax on energy-efficient appliances purchased in Hazelwood.
The City of Hazelwood is one of ten local municipalities joining the state of Missouri in its participation of the 2012 Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday, which is scheduled run until Wednesday. The 4.225 percent state sales tax will be waived for any purchase of qualified energy-efficient appliances during that week. Hazelwood retailers where you can purchase these items include: The Maytag Store, Sears Appliance Outlet and Ehrlich's Kitchens & Baths. The following Energy Star certified new appliances will be exempt from state and local sales taxes, up to $1,500 per appliance:
