Are you looking for a way to give back? Whether you’re a high school student who needs to get in those community service hours or you’re just a philanthropist looking to do some good in the world, an ideal opportunity is coming up in October.

Volunteers are needed for the 2012 Race to Cure Lymphoma 5K/10K on Oct. 5 and 6 at St. Louis Mills. Opportunities include packet pickup, registration tent, start and finish line crews, food tent staff, setup and breakdown, cleanup, balloon tent and more.

"Race To Cure Lymphoma is made possible each year by a large group of volunteers," said Linda Chatham, volunteer coordinator for the event. "Volunteering with family and friends is a great way to get involved in the fun and excitement of the race and show support for this community event."
