Boeing Donates $1 Million to Treat Charity Care Programs at Mercy
Funds will benefit Mercy's JFK Clinic, which provides medical care, obstetrical services and low-cost prescriptions to uninsured patients.
has committed to donating $1 million throughout the next four years toward charity care programs at .
The gift was announced at a hospital fundraiser Saturday and will be used for two charity care initiatives: to renovate Mercy’s JFK Clinic and to expand Mercy’s outreach efforts targeting underserved children and their families.
The JFK Clinic renovation will add five exams rooms, improve patient privacy as well as work flow efficiency, upgrade technology and expand the waiting room.

Mercy's JFK Clinic, located at 615 S. New Ballas Road in Creve Coeur, provides medical care, obstetrical services and low-cost prescriptions to more than 31,000 eligible uninsured or under-insured patients annually. The clinic’s in-house pharmacy for patients operates under a $4 million budget for medicines Mercy underwrites.
