Updated: Food Trucks Cancel Appearance at St. Louis Mills Today
Five local vendors were set to serve a variety of food in a mini food-truck roundup on Saturday during the back-to-school festivities at the mall, but the event was cancelled due to the upcoming thunderstorms.
Update 8:53 a.m.: Hazelwood Patch just received word that the food trucks have canceled their appearance at St. Louis Mills today due to the weather. We'll let our readers know if/when they reschedule, so stay tuned.

“We will be set up outside entry number two outside , next to ,” said Tara Lemmon, Burger Ink. “We will have picnic tables and trash cans all setup (for customers) too.”
Burger Ink and several other local vendors will be on hand, so shoppers will have plenty of options. Other vendors include My Big Fat Greek Truck, Zia’s, Feed Me Truck and Papa Tom’s Fancy Franks.
“The sales tax holiday is one of the biggest events at the Mills, so we felt that having extra food options would benefit the shoppers, the mall and the food trucks alike,” said Diana Broadwell of Papa Tom’s Fancy Franks. “We hope that it proves to do just that.”
