St. Louis Mills' shoppers are invited to participate on March 17 and 18 in the Fishing Classic 2012, a free event hosted by Cabela’s, the world’s largest direct market of hunting, fishing camping and related outdoor merchandise.
This Cabela's is located at 5555 St. Louis Mills Blvd., Hazelwood, MO 63042.
Weekend events include interactive demonstrations, casting contests and informational booths from Westover Farms, Hawg Hawlers Bass Club, Coast Guard Auxiliary and Healing Waters Fishing Club. Attendees can also meet professional fisherman Troy Micnheimer and Win Stevens.

12 p.m. – Meet Troy Micnheimer with Pradco Outdoor will be demonstrating the newest and latest fishing equipment.
1 p.m. – Meet Pro-staffer Win Stevens will help maximize your angling experience through the advanced fishing systems.
2 p.m. – Boat safety for kids – did you know 1 out of 5 boating accidents is a result of a child not being taught boat safety? Bring your children to listen to the Coast Guard (Saturday only)
2 p.m. – Crappie 201 – encouraging your anger skills
