Robertson Fire Protection District To Host Back-to-School Supplies Giveaway, Barbecue
The fire district will host it's back-to-school event on August 7 at the Hazelwood West Early Childhood Education Center.
Members of the (RFPD) will bring school supplies and more to , located at 5323 Ville Maria Lane, as part of the fire district’s first School Supply Barbecue on August 7.
The event starts at 1 p.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. Fire district personnel will distribute school supplies such as pencil pouches filled with pens, pencils, rulers and paper. All items will be encased in custom RFPD backpacks, for school-age children.
Hot dogs and refreshments will be available and Spanky the Clown will do face painting and balloon tricks for children. Visitors may also view fire district vehicles and equipment.

The fire district encourages all of its residents to attend with their families and it wants children in the community to know that Robertson personnel are serious about education and committed to serve their residents, according to a statement.
