Jared Fosdick and Devin Williams Commit to MIZZOU on National Signing Day

Both Hazelwood West High School baseball players, along with other student athletes from across the district signed their letters of intent to launch their college athletic careers.

Hazelwood West High School athletes Jared Fosdick and Devin Williams both signed letters of intent to play baseball at the University of Missouri on Wednesday. Jared, along with his cousin Brendan Fosdick, were a family powerhouse for the Wildcats last season, in which Hazelwood Patch featured the two in an article. Jared is a left-handed pitcher that can also get around a ball. Last season he had a .385 batting average. Williams has had a lot of buzz and scouts looking at him, as well. The right-handed pitcher known for his 91-93 mph fastball told the Prep Baseball Report this season is his most important yet. “Playing pro ball has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid, but if I don’t get what I am looking for in the draft I am not afraid to go to Missouri,” Williams said in an interveiw with the site. “I have met with around 24 teams so far.” Remember you can like Hazelwood Patch on Facebook at www.facebook.com/HazelwoodPatch.
