Hazelwood Seniors Graduate Despite Mother Nature's Setback
Storms disabled power all over NoCo on Friday, including at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Graduation was moved to Sunday. Still, the students prevailed.
As a result of the storms disabling power Friday night, the University of Missouri-St. Louis lost its power. Therefore, the graduation ceremonies for Hazelwood East, Hazelwood West and Hazelwood Central all had to be moved to Sunday instead of occurring on the scheduled Saturday date. But all is well that ends well.
Each ceremony went smoothly on Sunday and the auditorium was packed with supportive family and friends.
