Katie was a fun-loving, energetic, and kind-hearted 11 year old with a smile that lit up the room. On October 8, 2011, Katie and her sister, Beth, were involved in a tragic car accident in which Katie lost her life and Beth was seriously injured.

Beth continues on the path to recovery and returned to her junior class at Incarnate Word Academy in January.
