What's on the Agenda? Hazelwood City Council

Wednesday's city council meetings has a few items on it including the honoring of city employees and second reading on several bills.

A few employees are set to be honored at Wednesday's Hazelwood City Council meeting.

Employee Service Awards will be given to City of Hazelwood maintenance worker Howard Wolff for 30 years of service to the city.

The 's Sgt. Andrew Eagan will also be recognized for 20 years of dedication to the city.

Should you decide to attend this meeting a few additional agenda items to be discussed or voted on include:

  • City attorney Kevin O'Keefe's recommendation regarding the consideration of a Utility Tax Revenue Preservation Ordinance.
  • City manager Edwin Carlstrom's recommendation regarding consideration of the installation of a fire hydrant at 649 Dunn Road, and consideration of the city purchasing leaf vacuuming equipment.
  • Final council vote on seven new possible ordinances, mainly land use permits for various businesses including a few restaurants.
