Special Election: St. Louis County, City Decide Proposition Y Tuesday

Hazelwood voters will head to the polls on Tuesday to decide on Proposition Y, along with the rest of St. Louis County and City.

Another election day has arrived in the . Voters all over St. Louis County and City have one major issue on which to decide Tuesday--.

Here is some guidance, as you head out to the polls this June 5.

Polls open Tuesday at 6 a.m. Residents will have the opportunity to vote all day until polls close at 7 p.m.

If you’re not sure where you should vote, St. Louis County’s Board of Elections provides two ways to find your polling place. You can enter your address on the Vote Missouri website or look at the PDF document provided by the board of elections. 

What is Proposition Y

If St. Louisans vote yes, from roughly $29 for the average single family to roughly $44 by mid-2015. The new rate effective July 1 of this year would be about $31.
