Speak Out: Hazelwood Girl Scout Cookie Debacle Used to Prove ‘Control Freaks Killing America’

A controversial article lists Hazelwood officials as an example of the "psychotic control freaks" who are ruining the country.

“The control freaks are winning, and they are absolutely killing America,” a Right Side News article published Sunday morning begins. “Our founding fathers intended to establish a nation where Americans would be free to pursue ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’ in an environment where freedom was maximized and government interference was minimized.”

Although , the girls’ mother attempted at their home.  A local minister , which made many think the matter would be resolved, but the mother that she wanted to give the lawsuit a second try. The ’s request to drop the case was denied by the judge.

Control Freaks and Red Tape?

In its Sunday article, Right Side News listed the Girl Scout cookie case as one of 19 examples of how “control freaks” are putting so much red tape in front of Americans these days, destroying liberties and freedoms and “slowly sucking the life out of all of us.”

“If we ever want to have any hope of restoring America to what it once was, then we have to start doing something about this horrific mountain of red tape,” writes the author, who doesn’t have a byline. “In Hazelwood, Missouri it is actually illegal for little girls to sell girl scout cookies in the front yards of their own homes.”
