McDonnell Boulevard, I-270 Beautification Project Moves Forward

Hazelwood City Council approved Cole and Assocates for design and construction services.

The McDonnell Boulevard/Interstate 270 bridge in Hazelwood is closer to getting a bit prettier.

Hazelwood City Council previously approved a contract with Cole and Associates for design and construction services for the project. The contract is worth approximately $78,000.

The bridge enhancement will focus on installing a decorative guardrail, landscaping, lighting and signage, City Manager Edwin Carlstrom told councilors. The same company also worked on the Dorsett Road project.
