Hazelwood Voters, It's All Up To You Now

Low voter turnout was anticipated for today. Still, if you voted or tried to vote, tell 'Patch' about your experience at the polls.

It has been more of a snail's race in the with overall voter turnout expected to be fairly low in St. Louis and St. Charles counties.

Hazelwood Patch stopped through around 1 p.m. and only five voters showed up in the 45 minute time span. Poll volunteers said voter turnout had been low throughout the day.

Hazelwood Communications Coordinator Tim Davidson said when he checked with the election polling officials  at Hazelwood City Hall they echoed the same sentiment.

"They told me voter turnout has been very light here as well," he said.
