Hazelwood School Board Members Sworn In Tuesday, Set to Approve 2013-14 School Year Calendar

The Board of Education will also hear an updated report about the operational plan to update the districts technology infrastructure.

The Hazelwood School District (HSD) Board of Education will convene Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., to discuss district business.

At it's last meeting, the Board of Education approved a revised 2012-13 school calendar which reflects the school year ending May 29 for the district.  School was originally set to end on May 31. At the time the revised calendar was approved Diana Gulotta, assistant superintendent for communications, said the district was on its third snow day.

"We had already built six snow days into our calendar so we don't really have to extend the year until we miss the (seventh) day, she said"
