Hazelwood Residents Can Speak on 2013-2014 Budget Wednesday

The Council will also hear a report on the consulting firm in charge of finding the next city manager.

Hazelwood residents will get their first chance to weigh in on the 2013-2014 proposed budget Wednesday night.

The Hazelwood City Council will host a public hearing to discussed the budget proposal. The budget has a proposed $24.7 million in operating cost. Last year, the council approved a $24.6 million operating cost for the budget.

The Council will also have a report regarding the search for the next city manager as current City Manager Edwin Carlstrom prepares to retire after a more than 30-year career with the City of Hazelwood.

The City Council will meet at City Hall, 415 Elm Grove, at 7:30 p.m.
