Hazelwood Hires Classic Carpet and Flooring to Upgrade the Community Center

The flooring will be put into the Hazelwood Community Center's warming room.

The carpet at the Hazelwood Community Center has to go, and Hazelwood City Council approved a recommended bid to replace it.

Hazelwood city manager Edwin Carlstrom recommended a contract with Classic Carpet and Flooring, located in Florissant, for removal and disposal of the existing carpet and purchase and installation of new flooring in the Hazelwood Community Center warming room.

City council approved the contract with the cost for the carpet to not exceed $11,550 at Wednesday's meeting.

"Six bids were received and Classic Carpet was the low bidder", Carlstrom said.
