Persons interested in filing as candidates for election to the
Hazelwood City Council may obtain nominating petitions from City Clerk Colleen Wolf, at the Hazelwood City Hall, 415 Elm Grove Lane.
Council positions are for Wards 2, 4, 6 and 8. These will be three-year term will be filled on Election Day, Tuesday, April 5, 2011.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and a registered voter. They must also have lived in the City for at least two years immediately prior to the election and reside in the Ward for
which the office is sought.
Filing for the election opens on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at 8am and closes on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at 5pm.
Nominating petitions must be signed by no less than 25 and no more
than 50 registered voters eligible to vote for the candidate. These petitions must then be filed with the City Clerk by January 18, 2011.
