City Council Members will be Sworn Into Office Wednesday

The Hazelwood City Council will convene Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., to discuss city business. The council will meet in its chambers at Hazelwood City Hall.

Five-year service anniversaries for Councilman Warren Taylor and Councilwoman Mary Singleton will be acknowledged.

City clerk Colleen Wolf will also certify the results of the April 2 election, in which only the incumbents filed to run for city council. Following the election results, council members Carol Stroker, Russell Todd,  Ro Hendon and Don Ryan will take their oaths of office.  A mayor pro tempore will then be selected.

City Council will also hold a final vote on approving a contract for a company to execute the city's annual Independence Day pyro-musical fireworks display.
