Woman Shot At While Fleeing A North Hanley ATM

Police are investigating the first-degree assault. Assaults top theft the past few days leading in the police blotter.

March 19

Third Degree Assault: Police responded to a call in the 7700 block of Chalmette Drive to break up a disturbance between a tenant and the management. Hazelwood Police Sgt. Andy Eagan said the tenant reported an assault occuring during an argument with management, but nothing could be substantiated. The case was forwarded to the prosecuting attorney for review.

Drug Arrest: Police arrested individuals during two separate traffic stops after discovering drugs. One was at the intersection of Dunn Road and Normandie Court and the other was in the 9000 block of Dunn Road.

March 20

Second Degree Burglary: Police responded to a residence in the 100 block of Connolly Drive for a burglary. No further information released.

Domestic Violence: Police were called to the 4800 block of Rose Blossom Lane because a man and woman were in a verbal argument.

Second Degree Domestic Assault: Police were called to the 5300 block of Ville Rosa Lane. The assailant was entered into Hazelwood Police system as a wanted individual.

Second Degree Domestic Assault: Police were called to the 800 block of Teson Road. The assailant was entered into Hazelwood Police system as a wanted individual.

Third Degree Domestic Assault: Police were called to the 300 block of Reasor Drive. The assailant was entered into Hazelwood Police system as a wanted individual.

March 22

Third Degree Assault: Police were called to . The assailant was entered into Hazelwood Police system as a wanted individual.

Stealing Under $500: Police were called to the 7700 block of North Lindbergh Boulevard where two individuals were arrested for stealing.

Property Damage: Police responded to a call in the 12500 block of Santa Maria Court where a vehicle was keyed.

March 23

Second Degree Burglary: Police responded to a call in the 8800 block of Nyflot Avenue, where someone forced entry through a basement window and took a television.

First Degree Assault: Police are investigating a shooting in the 6900 block of North Hanley Road. Someone approached a woman while she was at an ATM. When the woman became scared and drove away, the suspect shot at her car striking it. Hazelwood Police Sgt. Andy Eagan said the department is looking for a black male but didn't have any additional description provided by the victim. He said the suspect's "suspicious mannerisms" made the victim feel she was in danger, which prompted her to drive away.
