Woman Exiting Shower Finds Burglars in Apartment, Police Say

Three people fled after the resident discovered them, but were arrested later, Hazelwood Police said.

A Hazelwood woman got out of the shower Sept. 1 to find three people in her apartment, holding her possessions.

Three people were charged Wesdnesday and Thursday with first-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing in the break-in:

  • Jheremy Clark, 22, of the 2800 block of Woodcrest Lane in unincorporated North County;
  • Chazz Vasser, 20, of the first block of Blossomwood Court in unincorporated North County;
  • Malira Young, 20, address unknown.

said the Clark, Vasser and Young entered the apartment in the 5300 block of Knollwood Parkway Court in at about 4:50 p.m. and stole DVD movies, purses and other items. When the victim came out of the shower, the three ran out of the apartment, police said.

Bond was set at $50,000 each for Clark, Vasser and Young.
