Vehicles Vandalized at a Hazelwood R.V. Center

More than 20 recreational vehicles and campers were broken into. But only those at the service center area were targeted.

According to police, Apache Village employees arrived to work Wednesday to find broken glass and debris scattered through the lot.

In total, more than 20 recreational vehicles and campers were damaged, with windows smashed, screens ripped and personal items stolen.

Those involved were likely looking for items to quickly pawn or sell, according to police, who also said only Apache Village service center customer-owned vehicles were targeted.

New vehicles not yet sold were untouched. The bright side in the matter, police have leads and are reviewing camera security tape.
