Two Arrested, Suspected in Meth Production in Hazelwood Motel

The Hazelwood Police Department shuts down a suspected meth lab discovered in the room of Budget Host Inn, Sunday. Reports say vapors could be seen coming from the room.

All is calm following the evacuation of a motel located on Dunn Road Sunday night. The (HPD), along with the responded to a tip that there was possible meth production in one of the motel rooms, according to reports.

STLToday.com reports that HPD arrested two people after entering a room at the , around 5:30 p.m. HPD found what it said was equipment used to make meth.

KMOV reports that when police arrived on the scene vapors were seen coming from inside the room.

A child found in the room was taken into protective custody.
