Thieves Steal Copper Pipes, Cash From Hazelwood Businesses

The Hazelwood Police Department supplied the following information for Thursday's police blotter. Arrests or charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred on Feb. 21 through Feb. 24 in the City of Hazelwood. Hazelwood Patch attained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department.

Domestic Assault: A man assaulted his girlfriend and then fled the area in the 7500 block of Hazelcrest. Police found him a short time later and arrested.

Domestic Assault: A man assaulted his girlfriend in the 7100 block of Berkridge and was arrested.

Property Damage: Antifreeze was poured into a vehicle gas tank in the 1100 block of Riverwood Place.

Stealing: A John Deer Gator utility vehicle was stolen in the 12300 block of Missouri Bottom Rd.

Stealing: Copper pipes were stolen from a building basement in the 7200 block of N. Hanley.

Friday, Feb. 22

There was nothing reported.

Saturday, Feb. 23

There was nothing reported.

Sunday, Feb. 24

Stealing: Someone stole money from the cash register in the 6900 block of Howdershell Rd.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested after drugs were discovered during a traffic stop in the 200 block of Village Square Dr.
