Teens in Serious, Critical Condition After Crash on Dunn Road

More details have been released about a serious accident in Hazelwood.

Three teenagers are recovering after the Hazelwood Police Department responded to a call for a vehicle accident around 10 p.m., on Dunn Road at Village Square. 

When police arrived on the scene, there was more than expected. Investigators said witnesses reported multiple vehicles were speeding and heading north on Dunn Road when one driver lost control of his car. Police said that person was attempting to maneuver around another car when he lost control and the car rolled. 

According to police, three male teens were thrown from the vehicle after it flipped. The vehicle continue to roll after hitting a drainage ditch. 

Police said none of those ejected from the vehicle were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

The driver and one passenger were transported to an area hospital and were listed in serious but stable condition on Friday. The other passenger was airlifted via Medivac helicopter from the scene to a hospital and was listed in critical condition on Friday.
