Shots Fired in Group Fight, Teens Arrested

Two teens were arrested in connection with the brawl. Three teens were taken to the hospital with nonthreatening life injuries, police say.

Hazelwood police arrested two individuals Tuesday in connection with a fight that turned into a shooting.

Officers responded to a call for a fight in progress between two groups of youths in the 300 block of Reasor on Monday, according to a statement. Police report that at about 2:35 p.m. the fight escalated, someone pulled out a gun and shots were fired.

Bullets hit three teens at the scene according to police, and the three were taken for treatment via ambulance to an area hospital. The injuries were not described as life threatening, according to police.

One female juvenile and one male adult were taken into custody for the assault. No further details were released as the investigation is ongoing.
