Police Searching for Missing, Suicidal Man

St. Louis County Police say Frank Howard, 74, went missing in the 4100 block of N. Lindbergh around after 5 a.m., on Friday after attempting suicide.

The St. Louis County Police Department is looking for a man it believes tried to kill himself Friday morning.

Seventy-four year old Frank Howard was last seen in the 4100 block of N. Lindbergh Blvd., around 5:00 a.m. The Missouri Highway Patrol has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for Howard.

Police said Howard reportedly attempted to commit suicide Friday morning and then assaulted his wife before running away in an unknown direction.

Howard is a black male, 5-foot-10 and weights 190 pounds. He has short gray hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black jeans. 

Police said Howard is believed to still be in North County, and said he should not be approached because of his mental state.
