Police Find Man with Stolen Credit Cards and a Wad of Cash

Hazelwood police arrest Precious Agobe for fraudulent use of a credit device and identity theft on Tuesday in the 7600 block of N. Lindbergh Boulevard.

A St. Louis man is in jail after Hazelwood Police Department officers discovered what was described as a "considerable sum of month and stolen credit cards."

Precious Agobe, 28, of the 3200 block of Delor in South St. Louis, was arrested for fraudulent use of a credit device. This happened on Tuesday at about 8:25 a.m.

According to a HPD press release a unit responded to the 7600 block of N. Lindbergh Boulevard for a call about a suspicious occupied vehicle. Officers found the cash and cards during a search.

The St Louis County Prosecuting Attorney office charged Agobe with identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit device.

He has a $100,000 cash only bond.

A Florissant man was driving the car and was not arrested in connection with a fraud crime, but was jailed due to traffic violations.
