Police Blotter: Daughter Smashes Mother's Car Window

The Hazelwood Police Department supplies the daily crime report. Arrests or charges listed don't indicate conviction.

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred on Sept. 5 through Sept. 8 in the City of HazelwoodHazelwood Patch obtained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department.

Sept. 8
Mental Health Crisis: After a mother and her daughter got into a fight in the 7100 block of Patty Court, the daughter requested to go to hospital for evaluation.

Assault: Three people pressed charges against each other after fighting at St. Stanislaus Park. All three, two women and one man, were arrested. 


Sept. 7
Found Property: A pink book bag filled with text books and paper was found at Wildflower Park.

Stealing: A person pumped gas then drove away without paying at the Mobile gas station, located at 6025 Howdershell Road. 

Drug Possession: Two people were arrested after marijuana was found during a traffic stop at the intersection of Howdershell Road and Utz Lane. 

Stealing: A teenager was arrested for stealing at Citi Trends at St. Louis Outlet Mall. 

Property Damage: A woman shattered the rear center window in her mother's vehicle in the 300 block Chez Paree Drive. The mother refused to press charges against her daughter. 

Property Damage: Someone damages the door handle on a vehicle on the parking lot at St. Louis Outlet Mall. 


Sept. 6
Located Runaway Juvenile: While on a call for a suspicious person, police found a Florissant teen reported as a runaway in the 900 block of Lynn Haven Lane. 

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested in the 200 block of Anistasia after police found marijuana in a car during a suspicious auto check.

Drug Possession:  A person was arrested at the cross-section of Coachway Lane and Tannoia after police found marijuana in a car during a suspicious auto check.

Third-Degree Domestic Assault: A man was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend in the 7400 block of N. Lindbergh Boulevard.

Sept. 5


Drug Arrest: Marijuana was found during a traffic stop at 75 Village Square Shopping Center. The driver was arrested. 

Third-Degree Assault: Charges were filed against students fighting. 

Stealing: Someone stole a magnetic sign from the side of a vehicle.

Mental Health Crisis: An inmate at the Hazelwood Police Department threatened to kill himself. He was transported to DePaul Hospital for evaluation.
