Police Blotter: 50 Foot Trailer Loaded with Scrap Metal is Stolen

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred on Sept. 14 and 15 and in the City of HazelwoodHazelwood Patch obtained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department.

Sept. 16

Property Damage: Someone keyed a resident's car overnight in the 900 block of Lynn Haven Lane.

Property Damage: Wires and parts were damaged in the engine compartment of a person's vehicle in the 7300 block of N. Hanley Road.

Stealing: Prescription medication was reported stolen from an apartment in the 7300 block of Normandie Court. 

Stealing: A bottle of vodka was stolen from Dirt Cheap. The thief was found and arrested.

Harassment: A woman said her boyfriend threatened to harm her in the 7400 block of Normandie Court. He was arrested.

Sept. 17
Stealing: A company in the 100 block of Byassee reported it believed an employee that was recently fired stole some tools when he was let go.

Stealing: A 50 foot trailer loaded with scrap metal was stolen overnight in the 6000 block of Byassee, 

Property Damage/Stealing: A person broke in to a vehicle in the 100 block of James S. McDonnell and stole an audio system.

Child Molestation: A man was reported to have been molesting a six year old girl in the 6900 block of Frostview. He was arrested.

Second-Degree Burglary: A person broke into a house in the 100 block of Anistasia. Entry through rear door but nothing taken from within. An electric meter taken from outside the residence.
