North County Man Charged in Recent Bank Robbery

Quentin A. Quinn allegedly demanded money, but did not display a weapon.

A North County man has been charged in a bank robbery that happened near Hazelwood last week, according to the St. Louis County Police.

At 2:15 p.m. on Friday, July 13, St. Louis County officers responded to a call of a bank robbery at the St. Louis Community Credit Union on West Florissant in Jennings.

Police said Quentin A. Quinn, 35, allegedly entered the credit union and, without displaying a weapon, demanded money from a teller. County police spotted and apprehended the suspect as he fled on foot. No injuries were reported, and police recovered the money.

Quinn is being held on a $75,000 bond.
