North County Man Charged in Recent Bank Robbery

Quentin A. Quinn allegedly demanded money, but did not display a weapon.

A North County man has been charged in a bank robbery that happened near Hazelwood last week, according to the St. Louis County Police.

At 2:15 p.m. on Friday, July 13, St. Louis County officers responded to a call of a bank robbery at the St. Louis Community Credit Union on West Florissant in Jennings.

Police said Quentin A. Quinn, 35, allegedly entered the credit union and, without displaying a weapon, demanded money from a teller. County police spotted and apprehended the suspect as he fled on foot. No injuries were reported, and police recovered the money.

Quinn is being held on a $75,000 bond.

Sorry to inform you, but Jennings is no where near Hazelwood. In fact, it's so far removed from Hazelwood. So you may want to take out the near Hazelwood mention. Berkeley crime is a stretch. I understand the stuff right on the Hazelwood-Berkeley border, but really? Jennings? IJS.
